Sunshine, nibbles, a band, an exhibition and a guided tour: DEBATIN said thank you to the DEBATEAM in style with a grand centenary party at the beginning of July. Superb weather greeted DEBATEAM members from the Bruchsal and Hoenheim sites for the festivities. They were joined by stockholder Veronika Debatin, CEO Thomas Rose, a number of special guests and their families.

The relaxed atmosphere was the perfect opportunity for the attendees to delve into the company’s history, chat together, and generally enjoy themselves! Refreshments were laid on, along with live music, dancing, souvenir photos and a tour of the production plant… not to mention a chance to cool off by the lawn sprinkler 😉.

DEBATIN centenary party: relaxed family atmosphere and a big thank you

Of course, the event had to include an official ceremony – which was just as entertaining as the rest of the day! Spontaneous bursts of applause greeted Veronika Debatin and Thomas Rose at intervals throughout their speeches, whilst local dignitary Cornelia Petzold-Schick thanked the company for remaining true to its regional roots and its commitment to sustainability. Linda Jeromin from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce then conferred DEBATIN’s centenary certificate and praised the company’s close collaboration with the local chamber in Karlsruhe.

To sum up: the day was all about saying a big “thank you” to the DEBATEAM for their dedication (in some cases, dating back many years), their work, and their commitment to the company. Indeed, looking around (and looking back), we can truly say that it was a party for the whole DEBATIN family 😊
